Cornwall Community Media Network's Bootcamp 2025: Meet and Greet Event

Looking for a new challenge in 2025? Come along to one of our meet and greet events to learn about our Digital Skills Bootcamp!

 

Wednesday 19th February or Saturday 22nd February 2025.

 

The Cornwall Community Media Network (CCMN) is looking for people who are passionate about their local area and keen to learn digital and media skills. We’re running a Digital Skills Bootcamp for Cornish residents aged 18 and over, to give an introduction to all aspects of community radio, including presenting, content creation, technical support, and more!

The Cornwall Community Media Network includes CHAOS Radio, Coast FM, CHBN, NCB Radio, and Source FM, and is supported by The CHAOS Group and BBC Radio Cornwall.

Interested? Come along to one of our meet and greet events at BBC Radio Cornwall in Truro this February; we're inviting you to join us for a one hour slot where you can speak to some of the community radio stations taking part, get clued up on the workshops involved, and have a tour of the studios.

Please only book on to one of the sessions available-- this ensures there is enough space for people to join us in another slot.

How to get there...

Car: There are many Cornwall Council car parks close by in Truro including Garras Wharf and Old Bridge Street, which are both within a 5 minute walk of the venue.

Public transport: If you're travelling by bus into Truro the closest stop, with many connections to towns around Cornwall, is the Truro Bus Station which is a 5 minute walk to the venue. If you're travelling by train the closest station is Truro Railway Station which is just under a 20 minute walk to the venue.
