Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian died following a road traffic collision near Scorrier early on Saturday morning.

Officers were called at about 1:15am on May 19, after reports of a serious collision on the A30.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services attended the scene following reports that a small silver van was in collision with a pedestrian.

“The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, died as a result of his injuries. His next of kin are aware and are being supported by officers locally.”

Police would like to speak to witnesses driving in the area at that time.
